The energy solution that is saving mining and quarries LOTS OF MONEY

Today’s video is about Enerwhere’s sustainable energy solution for mines and quarries. Imran and Stefan discuss the benefits of Enerwhere’s hybrid solution for the client and the environment (providing cost savings, improved reliability, monthly energy audits and significant emissions savings). The client does not need to invest any CAPEX to benefit from Enerwhere’s sustainable energy solution, he received monthly energy invoices (as part of the PPA – Power Purchase Agreement). In this episode, we have a co-host to help me present this project. Imran currently runs the industrial power and Energy storage division at Enerwhere and part of his job is to help design hybrid systems for industrial loads like these. He started his career in a mine as an electrical engineer working around equipment like what you see here and have since then moved on to a career in the renewables space getting a PhD along the way in Power Engineering

90% Solar Powered Construction

We are looking at the advantages of successful power management in off-grid construction sites. In this episode, DMCC’s Dubai Uptown towers construction site is being analyzed. Six Construct (BESIX) to building the 339 meter high, 78-storey Uptown Tower in Dubai. Enerwhere is provided the sustainable energy solution for the construction site. Enerwhere’s solar-diesel hybrid system has been powering the construction activities of University of Birmingham Dubai for Khansaheb in Dubai International Academic City since April’20.

A solar capacity of approximately 100kWp serves as a temporary car park structure whilst delivering cleaner energy to the site during the day. The system relies on technology, engineering and data analysis to power the site offices, utilities and tower cranes via a medium voltage network.
